Looking Glass Would Follow up the title with a sequel, System Shock 2, which itself has become one of the most critically acclaimed video games of all time and established Ken Levine in the video game industry. ![]() ![]() The title has since gone onto gain cult status and is now regared as one of the main pioneers in the then burgeoning PC gaming market of the 1990’s. ![]() Nightdive has been showing off the progression of the game for most of the year, including some amazing images that show just how far the project has come since it was even conceived.įor those who don’t know, the original System Shock launched way back in 1994 for PC, being developed by Looking Glass Studios. Thankfully it appears that the aforementioned deal that took place last year has hastened the development, and now we have a more definite time frame for the title.
